I have way too many hobbies to be great at anything:

Music: I play keyboards, program drums, and noodle a little on guitar. I have moods where I love composing music. Then I’ll go for months not touching it.

Programming: I’ve recently picked up HTML/CSS/JavaScript to add to the increasingly murky pool of coding languages in my aging brain. These date back to Commodore VIC-20 BASIC, Radio Shack Color Computer BASIC, Commodore 64 BASIC, AmigaBASIC, Microsoft QBASIC, 6502 Assembly (not much), 6809 Assembly (not much), Perl, C, Microsoft C# and little Python. As you can imagine, it can be hard to remember which language I’m in from time to time, and I’ve mastered none, but it’s been a good time.

Fitness: This is something I’ve picked up relatively recently. I’ve always been interested in fitness, but more as a spectator. For some reason, turning fifty-five was the milestone that changed all that. I was able to get control of my diet and lose 92lbs over the course of about a year and half. Then I started working out with resistance bands to overcome the weak, sickly look that diet-only weight loss will give you.

If you’re looking around, enjoy the site.
